Contribute to the Guides
This wiki is meant to be collaborative.
If you are a creator, developer, technical user, or someone who has figured out a workflow the docs are still missing, you are welcome to help improve it.
That includes:
- correcting mistakes
- clarifying confusing explanations
- adding missing details
- contributing screenshots and examples
- writing entirely new guides
- translating pages into other languages when localization support is enabled
Where to Contribute
The wiki repository lives here:
If a page is wrong, incomplete, outdated, or just harder to understand than it should be, please open an issue or submit a pull request.
Good Contributions
Some of the most useful contributions are:
- fixing technical inaccuracies
- adding real-world caveats and edge cases
- expanding VRChat creator documentation
- improving Bakery and lighting workflow coverage
- contributing screenshots that make UI steps easier to follow
- translating high-value pages so more creators can use them
If You Are Not Sure Where to Start
Here are easy ways to help:
- pick a page you actually used
- note what confused you or what was missing
- improve that specific part
- submit the change
That kind of contribution is extremely valuable because it usually improves the docs for the next person immediately.
Please Correct Mistakes
If I wrote something unclear, incomplete, or wrong, please correct it.
That is not just allowed, it is wanted.
Technical docs only stay useful if people who know better are willing to refine them over time.
Recognition
We keep a visible credits file in the repo so contributors can be acknowledged for writing, editing, screenshots, translations, and technical review.
