Skylight Samples: 16 to 32
Neon/sign lighting: use Light Meshes for neon and signs
Reflection Probes: bake after final lighting

SH is more justified when:

  • Different colored lights hit the same surfaces from multiple directions.
  • The scene has heavy neon signage.
  • Cyan, magenta, orange, purple, and other strong colored lights mix.
  • The look depends on colored directional separation.
  • VRAM budget allows it.
  • Shaders support Bakery SH.

Use Bakery Light Meshes when emissive signs or tubes need to contribute actual lighting.

A/B bake MonoSH and SH in the hero area before committing. If the visual difference is minor, keep MonoSH.
